Opening it the first time

InstantCut is made by an independent developer and the installer isn't signed with a paid Apple or Microsoft certificate yet, so your computer asks you to confirm once. Updates install without asking again.

On a Mac
  1. Open InstantCut from Applications. macOS says it can't verify the developer: close the message.
  2. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and scroll down to Security.
  3. Next to the line about InstantCut, click Open Anyway and confirm with your password.
On Windows
  1. Run the installer. If you see “Windows protected your PC”, click More info.
  2. Click Run anyway and follow the installer.
